Cosmopolitan Package

Offering full wedding coordination from the beginning to your farewell wave as you leave on the honeymoon, the Cosmopolitan Package is perfect for those couples who have demanding schedules or who live outside Central Maryland or South Central Pennsylvania. Events by Lexi researches and contacts vendors, visits sites, and brings all information to you for decisions. Lexi coordinates and organizes the details so you can enjoy your engagement! This package includes:

Initial Preparation

• Stationery recommendations (save-the-date cards, invitations, menu cards, ceremony programs, place cards/seating board, and thank-you notes)
• Etiquette and protocol advice (addressing invitations, seating arrangements, etc.)
• Telephone & e-mail consultations
• Regular progress meetings to address concerns, review plans, track progress
• Personalized planning itinerary and checklist
• Design and décor ideas

Budget Formation & Guidance

• Prepare and monitor a realistic budget to fit your needs
• Track expenses as incurred

Vendor Coordination

• Referral of vendors (caterer, florist, music, photographer, ceremony & reception site(s), etc.)
• Arrange catering menu and cake tasting
• Assist with music selection for ceremony and reception
• Attend meetings and review contracts with vendors
• Distribute final payment and tips to vendors
• Contact and coordinate all final details with vendors
• Prepare wedding weekend timeline for vendors (to be sent 2 weeks before the wedding day)
• The day before the wedding, confirm all vendors arrangements and timeline
• Coordinate with reception site regarding grand entrance, first dance, toasts, cake cutting
• Schedule the return of any rental equipment

Conduct Wedding Rehearsal

• Line up your wedding party and others involved in the ceremony
• Arrange rehearsal dinner details to include invitations, menu, venue, etc.

Direct Wedding Day Festivities

• Prepare wedding weekend timeline for bridal party and parents and others involved with the wedding
• Attend to ceremony details
• Plan and execute reception timeline with reception site manager
• Set out programs, unity candle, pew decorations at ceremony site, etc., as needed
• Distribute flowers to wedding party and assist with boutonnières for groom and groomsmen, if needed
• Direct the seating of the wedding guests, at the ceremony, with ushers
• Que musicians and officiant
• Available to bride and groom for any last-minute details that arise
• Assist bride and bridesmaids with dressing, if needed
• Secure all personal items (bouquet, cake topper, cake knife, portrait, guest book, gifts, etc.) for designated family member or friend who is responsible for these items (or deliver these to you at a later date).
• Provide “emergency kit” with such items as nail polish, hairspray, safety pins, sewing kit, scissors, Static Guard, band-aids, and a few snacks – just in case!
• Overall event management to take care of any problems that may arise during your event. I will remain easily accessible to you and attend to any need you may have.

• Prepare wedding weekend itinerary for wedding party and for vendors (to be sent to vendors 2 weeks before wedding day)
• Assist with floor plan and seating arrangements
• Contact all chosen vendors to reconfirm the details, arrangements and timeline
• Conduct wedding rehearsal
• Direct wedding day festivities
• Set up programs, unity candle or other ceremony items
• Distribute flowers to wedding party and assist with corsages and boutonnières for groom and groomsmen, if needed
• Direct the seating of the guests with the ushers
• Que musicians and officiant
• Available to bride and groom for any last-minute details that appear
• Assist bride and attendants with dressing, if needed
