Lexi Schafer, owner and coordinator of Events by Lexi, has been coordinating weddings and corporate and social events since 1992. She has successfully launched couples throughout Northern Virginia and Carroll County, MD, and helped countless others enjoy company picnics, business meetings, annual celebratory dinners, and ceremonial events.

Lexi grew up in Northern Wisconsin and made her way to Central Maryland by way of Northern Virginia. In Washington, DC, she discovered her love of coordination and knack for detailed planning while working for several law firms and a world-wide human resources corporation. She continued to hone her skills in planning and coordinating events and meetings after a move to Westminster, Maryland, in the mid-1990s, through work with various nonprofit organizations.

Lexi is currently the Assistant to the Board of Trustees for Carroll Lutheran School, for which she has arranged landmark events such as the ceremonial ground-breaking. Married since 1990 to the Reverend David Schafer, Lexi seamlessly applied her corporate planning acumen to helping anxious couples coordinate day-of-wedding details. Her reassuring smile and calm demeanor under pressure have helped guide many a couple through an enjoyable day to remember.
